Bògò celebrates the textile craftsmanship of Burkina Faso with a fabric made from the earth, rivers and sun of Mali. Bogolan in Bambara literally means made with mud, the manufacturing process involves a long preparation of the dye, created using clay, leaves and water. The vivid decoration of the fabric is reproduced by hand with designs that are symbols of local tradition.
