Michelle and Peter Farmer are a husband and wife team who joined forces to combine a business and real estate acumen with a creative eye for fine fashion design and a discerning clientele. With Michelle as the creative visionary and Peter as the CFO of the company, they have established a thriving business with Michelle Farmer Collaborate, bunking the trend in brick and mortar shops to be expanding when most are contracting. They have their finger on the pulse of the consumer who wants to dress in something original not found on fashion’s main avenues. Michelle’s first design venture was in 2007 in fine jewelry with a by-appointment boutique in East Hampton, New York, her creations influenced by her time spent traveling the world as well as in St. Barths. When Peter bought the building in Palm Beach, Florida on N. County Road Michelle pitched the idea of doing a pop-up fashion boutique and in 2012 the first MFC was created and quickly established itself as a successful year-round anchor store for their growing brand.
Michelle and Peter Farmer split time between homes in Palm Beach, Florida and Bridgehampton, New York and you will often see their adorable Springer Spaniels as a greeting committee at the various locations.
