When did you know you wanted to become a designer?

In my late teens, I was both a photographer and graphic artists. I always knew it was in my blood to become a fashion designer.

 

What is your earliest design memory for your brand?

My earliest design memory of my brand was designing our graphic hoodies, caps, and t-shirts.

 

What is your favorite part about designing?

I love everything about designing, its inside of me.

How would you describe your personal style?

My style is creative and different.

 

Do you have a favorite piece that you have designed? 

I have many favorite pieces that I have designed, especially my handbags and wallets.

 

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in my imagination and obstacles, visuals, and things I see.

 

What were some hurdles you had to overcome in your business?

I had to overcome some financial hurdles while starting out.

What is the one piece of advice you would give to a new designer?

 One-piece advice I would give to a new designer is to believe in yourself and never give up.

 

How important is social media to your brand?

Social media is very important to my brands success.

 

What are your greatest strengths and weaknesses?

My greatest strengths are to finish what I started. My weaknesses are very few.

 

What made you want to design accessories?

Both men and women love accessories, it compliments your look and completes it. I love that extra detail accessories bring and that is one of the many reasons I love designing accessories.

 

If you could go back and tell yourself one thing before beginning your career, what would it be? 

One thing before beginning my career I would tell myself is to be strong, look ahead, and don't look back cause here I come. 

 

What inspired you to name your brand?

 I was inspired by other brands some using their own names so I said why not me.

 

What sets your brand apart from the rest?

I feel I have a very gifted talent of creativity and design which sets my brand apart from the rest.

 

What do you envision for the future of your brand?

I envision Rodolfo Medina to go global and to be a household name.
