Who created the name? What is the significance behind it?

The name BN3TH, pronounced “beneath”, was created during our rebrand from our former brand name, MyPakage.  We launched the new company February 1, 2018 after a few years of careful planning.  BN3TH allows us to grow as an apparel company and is a nod to the products we create intended to be worn beneath your clothing as the first thing you put on and the last thing you take off.  We also lean on the tagline “It’s what’s beneath that counts” when describing our innovations, primarily focused on our patented MyPakage Pouch Technology™ that lifts and supports your boys, eliminating the need to shift or adjust.

What was your biggest fear when creating this line?

Every year there is some apprehension about how the line will be received. I was really proud of this line and felt like it was very complete with on trend prints, new fabrications and cleaned up aesthetics.

"Our belief is deeply rooted in the idea that with increased comfort you can increase performance."

Were there any major mistakes made? If so, how did you overcome them?

Design is a constant learning experience, and there are always things to be improved. We have dealt with issues in production in the past. Most of the time the issues are as simple and as cleaning up communication and getting transparency and we can work through whatever issues we are facing.

What sets BN3TH underwear apart from the rest?

BN3TH focuses on comfort. Our belief is deeply rooted in the idea that with increased comfort you can increase performance.

How do you want your customers to feel when they wear BN3TH?

The ultimate goal is for the customer to feel fully comfortable and supported throughout every endeavour.

How has technology impacted the development of BN3TH?

Technology is what we have based our brand on. Our patented MyPakage Pouch Technology is designed as a 3-dimensional pouch to keep the wearer comfortable and supported. We embrace technology in everything we do, from the fabrics we use to the actual design of the garment.

"Inspiration comes from user feedback, being outdoors, finding the perfect fabric and everything in between."

What role does social media play in the success of your brand?

Social media channels are where we as the brand get to have essential 1 on 1 interactions with our current and future customers and fans.  It’s the platform we can share, interact, promote, and celebrate our product, our brand and our fanbase.  We try to treat social as the single voice coming from BN3TH as if we were a person, therefore adding another important layer of transparency and authenticity to our communication. The conversations and engagements we have across social channels really allows us to communicate our brand values and create a true tribe following us.

How would you describe your personal style?

Relaxed and ready for anything.

What is your favorite part about being a designer?

Creating products that people love and help them to perform better is an amazing feeling. Constantly striving to create better solutions to everyday problems keeps it interesting.

What is your favorite fashion trend? Least favorite?

The bright colours and reference to other decades with tie dye and retro prints are really fun right now.  I have seen a small resurgence in super baggy men’s jeans. That is a decade reference I hope doesn’t come back.

Where do you draw inspiration from to create your designs?

Everywhere. Inspiration comes from user feedback, being outdoors, finding the perfect fabric and everything in between.

What can consumers expect to see next from BN3TH?

We have some amazing new innovations rolling out in the next 12-24 months.
